Thanks For the Add!

When people add you as friend in Facebook, and you kindly accept their request, some of them might post to your wall saying:

• Thanks!
• Thanks for adding.
• Keep in touch y'all!
• Terima kasih meng-add

I do this sometimes. Most of the time I'll indirectly say thanks or just start a conversation.

• Hey you! Nice profile picture! Thanks anyway..
• Hey, I know you from somewhere, you're that handsome guy in McDonald's rite? Thanks

Motive, when I do these, and these things come out in your News Feed, people concentrate on the dialouge not the THANK YOU part. Not that I'm arrogant. My personal opinion for those who only says thanks to people who just add them as friend:

• If the person you added is someone people know (read: popular/famous), you would like your other friends to know he/she just accepted you as their friend virtually.
• You lack of any other interesting vocab to express your gratitude of them accepting your friend request?
• You just want to start conversation, and you're too nervous to say anything else and you end up saying just 'Thanks' only.

I do have issues with this actually. I don't know why it irritates me so much! Urgh! Since I sometimes do this, double Urgh Urgh!

This makes me think about MySpace all over again, come on humans! We're grown ups! Kill the ordinary or glittered thanks. Start conversation. Real one! Happy Tuesday humans!

Crazy educator!

An average degree student of UiTM gets 14 weeks of lecture. 1 week of mid-semester break. 1 week to study. 2 weeks of finals exam.

A pioneer in International Business students in Arau, gets all of the above too.

Except that, we wasted 8 weeks to study about nothing that comes out in the final exam! We spent RM85 for the book that have nothing to do with our final exams.

I know we should not just study for a degree scroll. We should gain knowledge too. We shouldn’t be whining (I shouldn’t be whining). So, stop whining and start studying those 10 chapters in 4 weeks when we should’ve done that in 14 weeks. 

I’m sorry. It’s a test. I know. But I can’t help to whine. 

The subject is called Regional Economic Geography. What we’ve learnt so far focuses on Economic. I’m ok with this actually, I see the word Economy there; until I browse through the final paper and I’m like, ‘Demmit! These whole papers focus on Geography!’ well, that was on Week 9.

Argh!! He said he’s a doctor! Why does he do this to us?!

*bawa mengucap Ainaa..

Currently, I'm easily annoyed. Kill the lawak bodoh yea. Thanks.

Degil

Cuba korang rasa kepala korang, kat skull tu, tengah-tengah. Biasanya ada pusaran rambut kat situ. Not too front, not too back. The turning point antara leper dgn tegak kepala anda tu.

Done?

Ok, biasanya, ada lekuk di situ. Kalau lekuk anda kurang obvious, anda seorang anak yang baik, senang hati mak ayah ayah menjaga anda. Anda seorang yang TIDAK DEGIL.

Me, on the other hand, have obvious lekuk. I do. This indicates I'm a stubborn girl. 

I'm not stubborn in every single situation. Only some of them.

I can explain..

Alhamdulillah.. Lepas dah test.

So, classmate, anda perasan saya hantar awal tadi kan? I can explain. Listen! No, read!

I came late to test, sorry Q and Robi, my fault! Q asked Encik Fader, how long the duration of the test, if I'm not mistaken, Encik Fader answered, '1 jam!'

So, I sat down, asked for papers, thank you Robi and Deeba, and read the questions. After I finished reading, I take a look at my watch and I'm like..

OMK!! (Oh-Mak-Kau) It's 9.10pm! I clearly received message telling me that the test started at 8.30pm. So, I have like 20minutes?? 

So, I answered my 3-confident-betul questions, I think thoroughly my 1-agak-gamaknya-betul question and I hentam my 1-I-have-no-frickin'-idea-betul.

I answered all the question with very simple, short explanation, with example to questions I knew. Not all.

After that, I'm too tired to think, I just pass the paper to Encik Fader.

Told ya I can explain.

Dasar Perempuan!

Day 26: Your Dream Wedding

Happy 11/11/11

So, its been years since Day 20..

Ahaa.. It's perfect to write this today, since the date is very beautiful.. 

My dream wedding

1. Hopefully will be held on a beautiful date too.
2. All white occasion for the nikah.
3. Warm, happy and cherished moments for walimatulurus on both houses.
4. I'll be wearing a nice-cozy-loose fitting wedding gown. The make-up should be simple and breathable. The shoes will be nice and comfortable.
5. As for the groom, he shall be in anything that match me + cozy and cool too.
6. The wedding will be held in daytime - of course, home the weather will be nice. Not too hot, not windy, not raining. I always thought that every wedding is a blessing from Allah, He congratulate the couple by giving a nice warm day. cause I never come across a wedding held in raining day.
7. The food - is not too common, yet not to extravagant. Something nice for everybody. Food will be sufficient, insyaAllah.
8. The seating, my neighbor held a 7-tent wedding, maybe I'll revolve around that.

 

That's all I can think about now, just come to my wedding to compare and contrast.If any of these doesn't happen, well, I'm marrying a man with his own thought. Do count the thoughts of the man and my family. Sure it will be chaotic!

Hadiah

Saya seorang perempuan. Dan amatlah sinonim jika seorang perempuan itu sukakan hadiah.

Ini fakta.

Tapi, sesuka-suki saya menerima hadiah pun, saya tetap ada rasa membazir jika saya mendapat suatu hadiah yang mahal. Saya suka rasa membazir dapat hadiah yang saya dah ada. Saya juga rasa membazir dapat tahu tentang hadiah yang akan saya dapat.

Tapi, terima kasih kepada pemberi hadiah!

Saya suka sangat dengan hadiah pemberian kalian!

Dinner

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha kepada semua umat Islam yang menyambut perayaan ini.

Selamat hari cuti pertengahan semester kepada pelajar ISM UiTM.

Selamat hari cuti minggu terakhir bagi pelajar diploma freshie UiTM.

Selamat hari cuti kedua terakhir kepada pelajar lama diploma UiTM.

Selamat hari cuti beberapa hari kepada para pelajar lain, para tenaga pengajar, penjawat sektor awam dan sektor swasta.

Selamat hari Isnin malam selasa bagi yang lain - lain.

Seperti biasa, cuti ni, memang taklah kau nak cari aku kat Arau sana nun kan. Sudah tentu aku berada di kampung halaman, Ipoh.

I'm Ipoh mali babe.

Tiap kali balik cuti, hati kecil ku meronta-ronta untuk berjumpa dengan beberapa individu ini:

1. Keluarga ku. Habis, aku nak tidur mana tak jumpa mereka?
2. Encik BF ku. Note, kami adalah pasangan yang paling jarang ber-dating. Dah 2 minggu berturut-turut aku pulang ke Ipoh, tidak juga bertemu si bF.
3. Sahabat karib. You know who you are angels.

Usai berjumpa meraka, aku rasa cuti aku sudah cukup sempurna. 

So, UiTM, after Jumaat ni, you can take my cuti away, cause I've met my love ones.
